the Fog' is the SFAA's official newsletter. The newsletter
is used to communicate information on club activities, meetings, lectures,
regular events, and special events, as well as to present articles and information
related
to
observational
astronomy. The SFAA newsletter is published monthly and is usually available
within the first week of each month. (Please be patient during that time
as we finalize
that month's edition.) The newsletter is mailed via the US Postal Service
to paying members that would like to have a hardcopy. The soft copy version
is made available via the links on this page (below). Subscribers to the
will receive an email notification that the online version is available for
viewing via a link to this page. SFAA newsletters are never emailed
as they are very large files and we'd rather not overburden your email inbox.Newsletter Article Submission: We encourage our membership to participate by submitting articles, announcements, letters, photos and/or drawings for inclusion in our Newsletter. We would also like to hear from our new members. Tell us about yourself – what you have done in the past and what other clubs you have joined. The deadline for the next month's issue is always the 20th day of the month. Send your articles to the . Each month we try to have our newsletter completed in or about the first week of the month. Of course, sometimes we miss even that large target, so please be patient.
